Terms of Business update

Professional services and fees

We are an experienced, award winning, co-operative of designers, illustrators, photographers and writers. We offer a diverse, professional, communication design service. As such, we do not work on a speculative basis.


Brief and project approval

The success of any design project is fully dependent on a concise, clear and detailed client brief. It is the clients responsibility to prepare as much initial information as possible prior to engaging our services. All projects are quoted prior to commencing work and are based on the initial brief and timescales from our clients. The proposal and quote is valid for a period of 30 days.


Inevitably changes and variations can occur from the original brief as the project develops impacting on fees. We keep an ongoing record of our time and and spending, this is made transparent and available to our client on a weekly/monthly basis.


Commissioning services

To engage our services, a confirmation in written form is required prior to any project commencing. Typically this confirmation will be via a company email account. Messenger or SMS text is not acceptable.


If, at any time during the project, the client decides to halt/freeze the project. Or, if a client does not follow-up communication or feedback regarding a project within 30 days, the client shall be obligated to pay immediately any outstanding fees in return for the work carried out. A minimum charge of £200 becomes payable once a brief has been agreed (unless otherwise agreed). 


Payment

All fees become due on completion and delivery of any work carried out by us. Under no circumstances are credit terms part of our service, unless negotiated prior to commencement of a brief.
